Cars are a relatively recent invention, but one which now features prominently in our lives. For many people their identity is reflected in their vehicle.
Orville George was one of the first members of our family line to own an automobile, a maroon 1936 Dodge D-2 Sedan. It is remarkable that even though he drove for a living much of his life, he didn't purchase a vehicle of his own until somewhat later. Orville's many brothers and sisters probably all owned a car at one time or another.
Orville's father, Arthur, very likely owned a vehicle much earlier, but the details are unknown.
