    • [Editor’s note: A letter from Elvyna Dagg Sevigny states that Thomas, Susan and their 5 children came to Huntley Township July 1, 1837. After her husband’s death, Susan Farmer lived with her son Richard Dagg at Blackburn, and died at his home. She is bured in Blackburn, but there is no marker on her grave, and her death was not registered. This distance would have been about 40 miles by horse and sleigh in mid-winter.]
